Your way to us

... by car

The Ludwig Windthorst House is located approximately 5 km north of the center of Lingen. From the north and south, you can reach the house via the A31 motorway, taking exit 24 (Wietmarschen). Turn left towards Lingen, and just before the canal, turn left again towards Meppen. After approximately 1.5 km, at the roundabout, follow the signs. If you are arriving via the B70 (from Rheine, A30 Osnabrück-NL), the B213 (from Nordhorn or Cloppenburg, A1 Bremen), or the B214 (from Fürstenau, Osnabrück), use the bypass (B70/B213 towards Meppen) and take the Biene/Holthausen exit towards Lingen. Continue to the roundabout and turn right towards Holthausen, then follow our signs.
From Lingen city center, follow the hotel route towards Meppen until you reach the roundabout opposite the oil refinery. There, turn towards Holthausen and follow our signs.


... by train

Lingen is located on the railway line: Münster/Westf. - Rheine - Emden. A train runs hourly between Lingen main station and Lingen-Holthausen (LWH) from Monday to Saturday."Lili-Bus"On line 71/171, please get off at the "Holthausen-Biene, Zum Feuerwehrhaus" stop. The LWH is signposted from there (10-minute walk).

Alternative: Taxi, approx. 10 min. travel time.
